Find your Freedom is a 6 month group experience for committed and curious women who are tired of repeating patterns and want to come home to their body so they can build meaningful connections, feel confident in who they are and love being alive.

You’ve been striving for a different way of doing things for a while now & while you’ve found some relief through practices and explorations, nothing seems to create the real change you’re looking for

IS THAT RIGHT? 

I believe that in order to have control over how we spend our time and the decisions we are making for ourselves (whilst also receiving deeply fulfilling relationships with work, money, food, friends and intimate partners), we need to let the body lead instead of fighting against it and ignoring its messages.

And I know my love that you’ve probably spent many years running away from those intense and painful places that are present within, I did the same, but I can promise you, that it doesn’t feel so scary when you are equipped with the resources and inner safety to know how to safely approach them.

And ... I'm here with you every step of the way.

What I want you to know, is that the disconnection you experience, the behaviours you don’t want to engage in and the beliefs you hold about yourself that are causing you pain, all arrived as a form of protection. They are survival adaptations, created and built to keep you safe & alive. I also want you to know that the discomfort you feel through anxiety, depression or anything else that arises within you, is here as a messenger and it has information to tell you about your safety & experience in the present moment.

 

I hear you, you’re seeing the word ‘trauma’ and thinking that this doesn’t apply to you, but I’m sure if you’re here, it does.

Trauma is often thought to be a single, acutely intense, catastrophic life event such as war, abuse or natural disasters.

Trauma is also often misunderstood as being the event which we experience when in fact, trauma is the adaptations the body makes and the responses that happen inside of the body as a result of the experience we have.

But trauma, can also be much smaller events experienced once or experienced over time such as emotional neglect, parental divorce, toxic shaming, financial difficulty, core needs not being met.

While trauma can be the catastrophic disasters, it is also the much smaller events that can be experienced once or experienced over time, such as; emotional neglect, parental divorce, toxic shaming, financial difficulty, core needs not being met, rejection etc.

When our bodies are repeatedly exposed to these environments, particularly as children (as this is where our nervous system is formed) we go on to living in a state of chronic nervous system dysregulation.

We live as if we are in a constant state of danger and our bodies are constantly geared towards survival. I’m here, because I want you to start living & loving this precious life of yours.

I'm Alex & I'm so pleased that you are here. 

I used to be someone who was disconnected, disembodied and lived my life in a state of shutdown. Overwhelm was my baseline and my body could not cope with it, so it would regularly collapse into a state of freeze (we're going. to be learning all about this in one of our modules).

I would struggle to get on with doing anything that I wanted or needed to. I battled for many years with binge eating disorder, I despised my body, I always felt like I had to prove myself and I had absolutely no idea what boundaries were. I thought I had to be responsible for everyone around me, I struggled to trust people and I really did not know how to express myself authentically which greatly impacted my relationships. Through all this, I thought that where was something truly wrong with me.

Until … I learnt & discovered that I was living with chronic nervous system dysregulation as a result of unprocessed trauma.

Through working somatically & letting my body lead, I now live with a deep sense of love & trust for my body, I no longer life with the crippling affect of shame & I truly love being alive.

And I support women like you to experience that too.

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT...

 
  • To really get to know your body and how you respond, you’ve got to understand how your nervous system responds to the external experiences within your environment. We’ll be diving deep into what triggers you into a survival response and what uplifts you into feeling safe, connected & supported. And don’t worry - you won’t have to get your science books out - I know how to make this stuff feel sexy !

  • Trauma is often misunderstood as being the event that takes place, when in fact, trauma is the internal adaptations and what happens within you as a result of what you have experienced. Unprocessed and incomplete trauma responses keep us living in an adaptive state, where repeated patterns of behaviour and thought can become very challenging to live with. Working with the body, we create space so that trauma can be released, safety can be accessed and emotional balance is restored.

  • From conscious movement, to breathwork, to self touch and to voice work, you’ll be guided and held within many different practices that will serve you as a tool for regulating your nervous system, connecting to the present moment, processing trauma and generally feeling more connected and alive within your body. We’ll also be exploring and developing your own pleasure practices so that you know how to invite pleasure into every single moment.

  • We’ll be dropping into the body as a tool for self inquiry and to explore the parts of yourself that you so often judge, repress and hide both from yourself and from others. Those parts of you that you may subconsciously deem as undesirable or unacceptable. We’ll be connecting right into the heart of those most ‘shameful’ and vulnerable parts of you, so they can come out from the shadows and into the light.

  • I’ll be inviting industry leaders & experts to offer you workshops in areas such as embodied yoga, sex, pleasure & intimacy.

  • Being seen, heard and held is something that every single human longs for deep within their hearts. I open a space where you are held, every step of the way. Held by me, held by yourself and held by the other women that are in this circle with you. Sharing dissolves shame and you’ll discover the power and medicine that sharing brings through our conscious community that we create here.

✦ To live with self adoration and a confidence that pours through everything you do, you have to be in close communication with your body. 

✦ This is not just about 'feel it to heal it.' Yes I know I might have confused you there, but sometimes we feel so much, that we get extremely overwhelmed. This is about building your capacity to feel with safety and regulation, without getting overwhelmed so you can move forward with the right decisions for the desires held in your heart

✦ This is not about just having a package of pretty practices that you do daily to 'tick off' the to do list. This is about conscious engagement with somatic tools that support you in every moment - not just at 6am for 30 minutes.  

 

✦ This is not a place for basing your healing on tarot cards & birth charts. They have a place and this isn't it. This space is for grounded somatic trauma work that allows you to be free from the imprints of your past.

✦ This is not about 'feel the fear and do it anyway'. You will be challenged, confronted & uncomfortable at times but you will also be guided into knowing your limits. Everything within this space is optional and simply an invitation for exploration. If you don't feel safe, you don't do it and I will ensure you are held within that.

Fortnightly live calls

We will meet every other week for a 2 hour live call where we will explore embodiment practices, engage in somatic explorations and where you also have the space to share and be witnessed by the others within the group.

Trust me, being witnessed might feel scary right now, but it becomes one of the most unexpected yet crucial parts of peoples process. Being seen in our wholeness dissolves so much of the shame we hold. PY

RONLINE EMBODIED HEALING HUB: 

These resources will take you through the education of the nervous system, some teachings on developmental trauma and a portal of somatic explorations and embodiment practices that are going to support you in building up your personal protocols for leading your life.

This container has been created with overloaded and overwhelmed systems in mind and the resources here will follow that.

 

121 session once a month 

It’s important for me to connect with you outside of the group space during this time and that’s why you receive a 60 min 121 session every month. This is an open space where we get to meet you, your mind, body and heart, exactly where you’re at. Sessions may include breathwork, somatic inquiry, guided movement, nervous system mapping or whatever else you may need the space for. This time is yours.

ACCESS TO ME BETWEEN SESSIONS / COMMUNITY SUPPORT 

There will be a private community group where you have access to be between sessions. This is a space where you are able to hold space and be held. To give and receive support from the other women within the circle. You also have direct access to me for any questions or shares between call here. You are not alone. You are supported. You are loved. You are whole.

You are going to discover how to find peace within your pain, wisdom within your body & fall in love with the woman you already are.

Ok so maybe you’re feeling all kinds of excited and nervous, there’s yes’s and no’s happening at the same time inside you. Maybe a bit of inner conflict that’s stopping you from knowing what’s right for you at this time.

I’m committed to holding a space where the truth that exists within you can be explored. I’m not here to tell you to join this experience if it’s not the right thing - that’s just not my style. I am here to support you in bringing some clarity around your next step whether that be joining me or not.

 FAQ’s

  • Live calls are at 6pm (UK). Replays will always be available so don't worry if you happen to miss one.

  • It is vital for this kind of work that. we move slowly. The slow way is the fast way. Every one of you is unique and will require a slightly different way of working with this.

    I have designed this with online learning and home explorations so. that you can take your time with it and so that it fits your needs, your pace and your time availability.

    There will be approximately 1 hour of training, education and practices per week - however to bring what you have learnt into full embodied experience and understanding will take longer. This is a forever journey and you will have access to all of the resources so it's really up to you how you approach it.

  • I hear you my love. -most people are ! I can assure you that there is so much medicine in hearing other women’s stories and having their support too. There is also so much you will learn about holding space for others through this group process.

  • There will be a maximum of 15 women. I like to keep these spaces intimate to ensure that everybody gets a space to be fully seen & heard.
